Dear SPARK Families,

It’s hard to believe it is already December! We have been in school for almost four months and it brings us such joy to see our SPARKS growing and learning each day. We have a calendar full of events for this month. From Bedtime Stories with Ms. Ghee and Ms. Rios to our Spirit Week Winter Celebration, we are so excited to engage with you and our SPARKS.

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your contributions to the food drive. The availability of these items truly makes an impact on many families. We would also like to thank our Family Association for the wonderful meal they provided for our staff members. It was greatly appreciated!

Over the last few weeks, we have hosted prospective families on campus for tours. As I explain our core values to them, it fills me with such pride to know that our students are genuinely invested in living out these values daily. I love to hear students name what our core values mean to them or how they have lived into them recently.

We truly value your partnership and thank you for trusting us with your SPARKS.

Campus Ambassador Opportunity

We would love your help! Would you be interested in being a campus ambassador?

  • What is a campus ambassador?
    •  As mentioned above, our lottery for the 22-23 school year opens on October 29th. This means that everyone who is not currently attending our school is able to apply via SchoolMint.
    • Our campus ambassadors during the recruitment and enrollment period (October 29th-end of February) would support the campus in recruiting new applicants.
  • How would you help?
    • Dropping off flyers
    • Recommending family, friends and neighbors
    • Supporting us during recruitment events on and off-campus

There will be a meeting to give you all the details for participation. We are so excited to provide our parents with this opportunity to support our campus in a different capacity!

Please email  if you would like to be a part of this wonderful initiative. There might be prizes for our ambassadors 😉.

Winter Break Reminders

This year our winter break starts December 20th and goes until January 4th. The first day back to school is Wednesday, January 5th

Students will be taking home their laptops over Fall Break and it will be a great opportunity for them to work on Imagine Learning. Imagine Learning is a computer-based program that extends and enriches what students have already been learning in class. Bilingual students can work on all 3 programs (Language & Literacy, Imagine Math, and Imagine Español) and Monolingual students can work on Imagine Language & Literacy and Imagine Math. The more time students spend on Imagine Learning - the better the academic outcomes!

Front Office Procedures

As we continue to prioritize safety, we are adjusting the process when you visit the front office. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell (located to the right of the door). You will be greeted via the speaker. Please respond with the reason for your visit and your student's name. Then, you will be granted access to the building.

Also, if another family enters the building in front of you, please do not enter the building behind them. You will need to ring the doorbell and share the reason for your visit also. If you are waiting in the lobby, please do not open the door for someone else to enter the building.
