Pictures with Santa

Surprise!! We will be printing your student's picture! On the last school day last month, students took Winter Wonderland pictures based on parent preference. We will be printing these pictures on 4x6 photo paper and sending them home with your student this Friday, January 14! We hope you enjoy this small gift from our school to your family. The digital files were shared through ClassDojo. Thank you for being so patient.

Down Syndrome Family Connections Group Starting in January

Barb Campbell, Director of Family Engagement

We are excited to share about a new opportunity for Yes Prep families! Starting in January, we will have a monthly gathering for all families with children who have Down Syndrome. This will be a unique opportunity for families to meet each other and share support, encouragement, resources, and celebrations related to our unique and amazing kids. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, January 25 in the evening, with dinner and childcare provided. If you are interested, please contact sydney.boule@gmail.com. We believe deeply that our students and families with Down Syndrome are valued members of our community, and we cannot wait for the opportunity to know and serve you better!

2022-2023 Lottery Season

Student applications for the 2022-2023 school year are live! We will be offering grades PK4 through 4th grade next school year. Make sure to complete an application for any of your other students and spread the word to people you may know who are interested! Visit www.yesprep.org/sayYES for more information or give us a call at the front office. You do not need to reapply for your student(s) currently enrolled with us.

Campus Ambassador Opportunity

We would love your help! Would you be interested in being a campus ambassador?

  • What is a campus ambassador?
    •  As mentioned above, our lottery for the 22-23 school year opens on October 29. This means that everyone who is not currently attending our school can apply via SchoolMint.
    • During the recruitment and enrollment period (October 29th-end of February), our campus ambassadors would support the campus in recruiting new applicants.

  • How would you help?
    • Dropping off flyers
    • Recommending family, friends, and neighbors
    • Supporting us during recruitment events on and off-campus

There will be a meeting to give you all the details for participation. We are so excited to provide our parents with this opportunity to support our campus in a different capacity!

Please email SoutheastElementary@yesprep.org  if you would like to be a part of this wonderful initiative. There might be prizes for our ambassadors 😉.
