Dear Southeast Families,
Thank you for your continued support and for joining us during our First Quarter SPARK Awards! It was truly amazing to see so many of you celebrating our students’ accomplishments. Your presence and encouragement make these moments even more special for our children.
Next week will be a busy and exciting one at Southeast Elementary as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Each day will include a fun theme and activity focused on making healthy, positive choices and developing anti-bullying awareness. Please take a moment to review the calendar attached to this message for the daily dress-up themes. Student participation is optional; however, students who do not participate should come to school in their regular uniform.
Friday will be an especially festive day! Students will take part in our Book Character Parade, we’ll celebrate our Perfect Attendance Day during lunch, and I’ll be taking Halloween pictures with students throughout the day. Please remember that for the parade, masks and toy weapons are not allowed. Families of students who qualify for the Perfect Attendance Lunch will receive an invitation, and for Halloween pictures, please ensure your child brings their permission slip and payment to school before Friday 10/31 (on that day is also ok).
Thank you once again for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we continue to make Southeast Elementary a place where students learn, grow, and shine!
Warmly,
Jorge Rodriguez
Principal, Southeast Elementary
