Dear Southeast Families,

Thank you for the incredible support during our Hispanic Heritage Festival this week! It was truly inspiring to see so many families join us to celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and stories that make our community so special. Your participation in the classroom activities and school events helped our students see the beauty of their heritage and the value of sharing it with others — a powerful reminder that our diversity is one of our greatest strengths.

As we close out the first quarter of the school year, I want to take a moment to recognize everything we’ve accomplished together. From strong academic progress to a successful launch of our routines and systems, our students and staff have shown tremendous growth and dedication. To celebrate these achievements, we will host our Quarter 1 Student Award Ceremonies on Thursday, October 24th. Families of students being recognized will receive an invitation to attend. We look forward to celebrating their hard work and success together.

Thank you again for your continued partnership and trust. I am deeply grateful for the privilege of serving our families and community every day, and I remain committed to making Southeast Elementary a place where every child learns, grows, and belongs.

Warmly,
 Jorge Rodriguez
 Principal, Southeast Elementary
