Dear Southeast Elementary Families, 

Thank you for the continued support and partnership you show our school community. Your presence, encouragement, and involvement make a meaningful difference in the experiences we are able to provide for our students. 

I want to extend a special thank-you to all the families who joined us for our Science and Math Night. Events like this are important because they give students opportunities to engage with learning in hands-on, joyful, and meaningful ways. When students explore science and math alongside their families, it strengthens curiosity, builds confidence, and reinforces the message that learning matters both at school and at home. Your participation helped make the night a success and created lasting memories for our students. 

I also want to share how proud I am of our students as we celebrated their accomplishments during our Quarter 2 Awards Ceremony. Even though I was not able to be present in person, I was grateful to join in celebrating our students’ hard work and growth. These celebrations are an important way we honor students whose actions and effort exemplify the YES Prep core values. 

Looking ahead, we invite families to begin reserving their tickets for our upcoming Valentine’s Dance, taking place in just a few weeks. We look forward to another opportunity to come together as a community and create joyful moments for our students and families. 

Thank you again for your continued support of our community engagement events and for partnering with us to create a school environment where students feel celebrated, supported, and inspired to learn.

We know that you may have some needs that arise as a parent or guardian. You can receive direct help by submitting a “Student Assistance Form” or SAF. We are excited to announce that our volunteer program is back this year! If you are interested in participating as a volunteer at SEE please follow the steps below. We understand everyone’s schedule differ and  have created many  exciting opportunities for you to be involved whether your availability is recurring , occasional or a one-time opportunity.
